Young cat death seven experts killer cat feeding key points
Date:2018.03.16
The cat is usually in its infancy stage within 12 months after birth, equivalent to that of a person from birth to 15 years old. At this stage, cats need special care, otherwise they will easily die. This article summarizes the seven death killers of young cats and the feeding points of young cats for reference.
One, the seven killers of the death of a young cat
Killer one: congenital abnormality. Congenital anomaly refers to the abnormal state of a baby cat at birth, most of which are caused by genetic problems. Of course, such as X light or some drugs can also cause teratoma. The congenital abnormalities of the central nervous system, the heart vascular system, and the respiratory system often cause the cat to die in production or within 2 weeks, and other congenital abnormalities may not be noticed until the cat is able to act on its own.
Killer two: teratogenic effect. Some drugs and chemicals can cause Teratosis and cause congenital abnormality of the cat and premature death. Therefore, during the pregnancy of the mother, the drug and chemical substances should be avoided, especially steroids and the treatment of mildew.
Killer three: nutritional problems. If the mother is fed with unsuitable food, it is likely to produce a debilitating or ill born cat. The most serious nutritional problem is the lack of bovine bilirubin, which is now known to cause fetal reabsorption, abortion, stillbirth, or birth maldevelopment. The causes of malnutrition in newborn kittens include severe maternal malnutrition, lack of proper maternal blood supply during fetal life, or competition for placental space.
Killer four: underweight. The reason for the lack of birth weight is not clear, but premature birth, congenital abnormality, or insufficient nutrition are all possible reasons. The lack of birth weight will not only cause higher death and premature mortality in the six week old cat, but also cause a certain cause. Some cats are chronically stunted, so the birth of a young cat is best weighed and measured regularly until the age of six weeks.
Killer five: haemolysis of newborns. General domestic cats are less likely to develop hemolytic symptoms of newborns, but are more likely to occur in some purebred newborn cats. This is because the colostrum of the female cat is rich in migratory antibodies, which can be absorbed by the intestine of the newborn cat within 24 hours. The B type cat of the blood type has a strong anti A homoantibody. When the blood group B type cat is born with the type A or AB type cat, the mother cat's colostrum contains a large number of anti A homoantibodies. Once the newborn kittens feed the colostrum within 24 hours, these anti A homohomoantibodies are absorbed into the body and are red with the cat's red. The combination of blood cells dissolves it, which causes a variety of diseases. The hemolytic symptoms of newborn cats were mostly born after colostrum. Most of the cats died of sudden death without any clinical symptoms on the first day, but there were also reddish brown urine, or the continued deterioration of jaundice and severe anemia during the first week of the week.
Killer six: trauma. Most trauma refers to dystocia, feeding habits, or bad behavior of female cats. Most of the fetish occurs in a neurotic or highly sensitive mother cat, and it is quite common for a female cat to eat a sick newborn cat, but it can not be blamed for the eating behavior of all the female cats in order to avoid the infection of the healthy cats, and reduce the meaningless care and the consumption of the breastfeeding. The mother cat usually doesn't pay attention to and care for the sick newborn cat, even holding it out of the nest or out of the cage, which is difficult to distinguish from the motherhood.
Killer seven: production times. According to the statistics, the survival rate of kittens at the time of fifth production was the highest, and the survival rate of kittens was the lowest after the first and five times. The survival rate of the kittens produced by the middle type cat was higher than that of the large or small size cat, while only 5 had the lowest premature mortality rate.
[Editorial Review] These kitten killers are wary of their owners, and it is important to choose the parents of cats because most of the genetic abnormalities are caused by genes. The other is the care of the day after tomorrow. The nutrition and daily care of the kittens should be careful, and the weight of the young cats should be measured regularly. Also, pay attention to the mood of the female cat and the attitude towards the kitten, and guard against trauma.
